Shiftly is still in development. The live link is a working build for testing, not a finished product.
Overview
Shiftly covers the whole shift cycle for venues and crews: schedule, clock-in and clock-out, timesheets and payroll export, plus team chat and an announcement feed. I started by taking Connecteam apart, wrote the MVP spec, UX plan and pilot plan, then designed and built it.
What I did
- Access rules live in the database as row-level security, so every screen stays simple.
- Works offline and uses GPS sparingly to save battery on shift.
- Runs on free tiers — zero monthly infrastructure cost for a pilot.
- The 1:42 product video is composed in code (Remotion) from real screen recordings: camera moves, cursor, spotlights, voice-over and subtitles.
